HP has today made a number of quiet unveils, one of which is a brand new laptop that takes from the previously unveiled HP Omen, but in a new professional style.

Called the HP Omen Pro it is not designed for those who want to play games (although it will do that well), it is targeted more to those who create their own games, featuring specs that will blow most laptops out of the picture.

Featuring a 15.6 inch 1080p touchscreen display, the HP Omen Pro has been built with an aluminium frame for a stylish feel but includes some of the most serious specs we have seen in a laptop of this size.

Inside you will find a 2.6GHz Intel Core i7 processor, a NVIDIA Quadro K1100M graphics card with 2 GB dedicated GDDR5 video memory , either a 256GB or 215GB Z Turbo PCIe solid state drive and up to 16GB of DDR3 RAM.

And on top of all that the Omen Pro is just 19.9mm thin, weighs only 4.98 pounds and runs on Windows 7 Professional, making it a great option for a workstation.

You can find out more about the laptop at the source link below, where it is priced at $2,199 for the 8GB RAM version, or $2,499 for the 16GB RAM version.
