Orange has launched a new plan for the under 24s of Britain, granting them an extra 1GB of free mobile internet and unlimited UK calls and texts to anyone on Orange or T-Mobile.

The offer will be available nationwide and will be free to join for all new and existing pay as you go and pay monthly Orange customer aged under 24, alongside which they have launched a new U24 app which will help customers identify the friends and family that are on Orange or T-Mobile, allowing them to find out who they can call and text for free.

To get the service you will have to top up by £15 or more a month, or have a contract that has a plan of £15 or more a month, aimed at students on a tight budget the plan gives those in need a helping hand to keep in contact with those in need, Simeon Bird the Director of Propositions at Orange UK said this about the new plan:

“We’re pleased to be able to reward our younger customers with such a great offer. Whether they’re going away to university, or starting out in a new career, with U24 we’re hoping to make life a little easier, providing them with an extra mobile data allowance and the potential to call and text over 27 million people as often as they like – all for no extra charge”.To sign up just head over to your nearest Orange store with your driver’s licence, passport or PASS card ID and they will add you to the service, to find out more head over to Orange’s U24 page.
