During last weeks CES there were a few hidden jems that we managed to miss, one of those was OtterBox’s newest case within the Armor Series, that they claim to be the toughest case ever built.

Available from OttorBox’s site from February 22nd, the case will come in three versions, one for the iPhone 5, another for the 4/4S and the other for the Galaxy S III which will be available shortly after.

The new includes some things we have seen before and others we haven’t, the o-ring technology for instance now allows the case to be submersed for 30 minutes in up to 6.6 feet of water, this combined with vents and port covers makes for a non-permeable membrane but still allows for sound to move through thanks to the protective mesh layer.

The interior and exterior of the case has been designed to withstand a 10 foot drop, with over-molded bumpers in each corner and a soft interior foam to keep the phone cushioned, there’s even a built-in screen protector to keep scratches at bay.

All of the four layers used together can then be merged together used the corrosion-resistant metal latches which secure the two halves of the case together.

The case will be available for the 4/4S with a grey exterior and green interior, the iPhone 5 in white and blue, grey and green as well as gunmetal grey and orange, and finally the S III case will be available in both white & blue and grey & green
