The launch of the iPhone 5S may have caused some problems with various manufactures making cases for smartphones, mainly with Apple’s new Touch ID, but Otterbox has already got over the hurdle, announcing their new case for the iPhone 5S that will work with Touch ID and will still remain waterproof.

Called the Preserver series, the new cases with protect the 5S from water and dust, whilst still keeping all of its features and buttons easily accessible.

Otterbox says that once in the case, the iPhone can be fully submerged in up to 6.6 feet of water for 30 minutes, as well as being protected against falls as high as 6 1/2 feet.

The iPhone 5S Preserver Series cases will be available soon for $89.95 in the US, at the moment we don’t know how much they will be elsewhere.
