After debuting at CES 2014 earlier this year, Ozobot has today launched on the Kickstarter platform, designed for both physical and digital play, the intelligent game piece will allow users to play both luck and strategy games, even changing speeds, direction or dance around by moving the Ozobot.

As a physical game piece the controller is said to “bring social gaming back to game night”, allowing users to play inside virtual worlds, linking both new and old games in a new manner that still links to the old ways of gaming.

Ozobot will launch with four free applications for both iOS and Android, with more apps launching every few months, from both Ozobot and 3rd party developers.
