If you are Premium Spotify subscriber you might want to check out a new app that launched for the iPad today, called Pacemaker it allows users to mix, scratch and record tracks that are stored within Spotify’s catalogue of over 20 million songs.

Users can use tools such as crossfade, sync, loop and blend within the app, as well as even load up a virtual deck to scratch over the loaded track.

The app is available for the iPad for free, however there will also be single effects available via in-app purchases, including echo reverb and the ability to remove high or low frequencies, each of which cost $1.99 each and downloadable via the iTunes App Store.

Spotify have also announced that they will be allowing those with the Spotify Premium trail subscription to try out the app for a limited time.
