Panasonic has today announced their latest mid-range camera, the Lumix G6, packing an 16 megapixel sensor, with a 7fps burst mode, top sensitivity of ISO 25,600 and Wi-Fi and NFC technology in-built.

The camera also features a 1,440K-dot OLED LVF, 0.5 second startup time, 1,036K dot 3 inch touchscreen, that can swivel 180 degrees as well as tilt 270 degrees in total.

The G6 also makes use of the new Venus engine, and includes a anew full-area touch AF, as well as full HD 1080p video recording at 60fps, in either the AVCHD or the MP4 format.

As of yet, no pricing or availability information have been revealed.
