After images leaked yesterday, the Panasonic Lumix GM1 micro thirds camera was officially announced earlier today, adding to their GM series of cameras, the new GM1 features a 16 megapixel sensor with a 1/16,000 shutter speed and the ability to capture 1080p videos.

On the back you will also find a 3 inch tilting LCD display and under the hood of the camera there’s also full Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing the camera to connect to a smartphone/ tablet and transfer images and videos quickly using the Panasonic Image application, which is available for iOS devices.
