Parallels has this week announced that their new remote desktop application called Parallels Access 2.0 is now available to download on both the iTunes App Store and the Google Play Store.

This launch comes with the expansion of the remote desktop application to both Apple’s iPhone and the various Android smartphones that are available, meaning that users can now remotely control their desktop from their phone.

To use the application, you do need a subscription to the Paraellels Access Remote Desktop service, which starts at $20 for a single year, and $35 for two years, which allows users to access up to 5 remote computers from an unlimited amount of smartphones.

Parallels has also rolled out a new service called Parallels Access for Business which will enable administrators to easily manage Parallels Access accounts for their users, with subscriptions starting at $50 a year for up to five computers.

Currently however, the service will allow administrators to add an unlimited number of computers and users for free until July 31st, 2014, after which these free accounts will be transferred to a paid subscription.

You can find out more about the service at the link below.
