Parrot has today expanded their line of robot toys, taking the wraps off its new Parrot MiniDrone and Jumping Sumo robots.

The MiniDrone is quite a bit smaller than the previous AR:Drone, and is capable of climbing walls, rolling across ceilings and comes in a smaller form factor. The drone uses Bluetooth Low Energy and is controlled using Parrot’s app for smartphones and tablets.

The second is the Jumping Sumo, a robot toy that is also controlled using a smartphone or tablet, but this time it uses Wi-Fi 5GHz technology to communicate. The main thing about the Jumping Sumo is that it can spin, turn 90 degrees and even jump up to 80cm high.
