2K Games revealed that BioShock will be released in a remastered version soon. Called BioShock: The Collection, it will include BioShock, BioShock 2, and BioShock Infinite and DLC in one game.

It’s definitely a game that you want to check out, and if you are doing on the PC you might want to read this post.

This is the reveal of the system requirements for the game, which include the following:

  • Windows 7 or above.
  • 2.66GHz Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 processor, or a 2.7GHz AMD Athlon X2 processor, or above.
  • At least 4GB of RAM.
  • At least 70GB of hard drive space.
  • A DirectX11 compatible AMD Radeon HD 7770, or a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560, or above that.

This is the minimum that you will need to play the game, but if you want a little more then you might want to meet the recommended system specs, which are as follows:

We learned a few months ago, that BioShock would be getting a remaster in the form of BioShock: The Collection.

  • A quad-core processor clocked at 3GHz.
  • At least 8GB of RAM.
  • At least 80GB of hard drive space.
  • A 2GB ATI Radeon HD 7970, or a 2GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770, or better.

BioShock: The Collection will be released for the PC on September 15th.
