Back in 2012 People Products launched their Transparent Speaker, which was a glass-enclosed speaker that featured a unique design to show the speaker design and the wires that connect then.

This week the company came back with a new version of that speaker, fittingly called the Small Transparent Speaker, it features a smaller design, smaller drivers, and a smaller price tag.

It is a slight downgrade, featuring two 2.5-inch stereo drivers instead of the subwoofer and two 3-inch drivers that were in the original Transparent Speaker.

That said, it does still come with some cool featuring, with AirPlay, Google Cast, Spotify Connect and Bluetooth connectivity, as well as a 3.5mm aux input for direct connections.

It has also been designed with recycling in mind, with a design that can be easily disassembled, People Products also says that the speaker will be capable of detecting malfunctions and notifying users about them through the connected app.

The company hopes to ship the speaker in June 2017, but before then, they are looking for backing on Kickstarter to get into production.

You can do that and find out more at the source link below.
