Philips has today launched a new and interesting set of noise cancelling headphones during CES 2015 earlier this week, dubbed the Philips Fidelio NC1L, its interesting factor is that it is made to connect to Apple’s iPhone, iPad and iPod with a Lightning connector.

These are the first headphones to connect with an iOS device using the Lightning connector.

By using Lightning the headphones can play music without the need of any batteries for the noise cancellation feature, instead drawing power from your iOS device.

There’s also another mode alongside the noise cancellation mode, allowing users to filter in ambient noise so you can specifically hear what is going on around you.

The Philips Fidelio NC1L will be available in the US shortly for $299, however no details have been announced for the UK.
