Philips has today announced a new wirelessly controlled light that joins its Hue range of products and has been named the Philips Hue Go.

Controllable via smartphone, the Philips Hue Go can be controlled by wither an Android or an iOS smartphone, allowing the user to choose the colour on which the light shows.

The light also features a built-in rechargeable battery that can even be recharged wirelessly.

To use it, all you need to do is connect the light to the mains and to your smartphone, after which you just unplug it and suddenly it becomes a fully portable light.

You can find out more about the smartphone controlled light at the source link below.

Philips say that the Philips Hue Go will be available in June.
