Due to some amazing spy-work from Wired we now have images of Apple’s new “tactical” data center, which has been placed in Maiden, North Caroline, as you can see from the image above, the data center is absolutely huge with 21,000 square-feet in total available for Apple to build on, which all ended up costing them around 1.9 million dollars.

Alongside the new data center, Apple is also building a 100 acre solar farm, which will be responsible for pumping in 20 megawatts of power for the stations, alongside this it looks like Apple may also be building that planned 4.8 megawatt biofuel cell plant, which converts biogas into electricity.
