Sony has today announced that their PlayStation 4 bundle with The Last of Us Remastered will be available from July 30th, 2014, a day after the game only version, which is set to launch in the US on July 29th, 2014 for $49.99.

In terms of the bundle, buyers will get The Last of Us Remastered, and the PlayStation 4 console in a bundle for €429.99 in Europe.

According to the developers of The Last of US, Naughty Dog, the PS4 version of The Last of Us will include higher resolution graphics and better cutscene-quality character models.

Naughty Dog’s creative director Neil Druckmann said the following about the game’s launch:

“The Last of Us is genre-defining experience blending survival and action elements to tell a character driven story about a population decimated by a modern plague. Cities are abandoned and being reclaimed by nature. Remaining survivors are killing each other for food, weapons and whatever they can find.”

“Joel, a ruthless survivor, and Ellie, a young teenage girl who’s braver and wiser beyond her years, must work together to survive their journey across what remains of the United States. Developed by Naughty Dog.”
