Sony has finally lifted the curtain on its PlayStation Mobile service, launching it on the PlayStation Store available on the PS Vita and all smartphones and tablets that are PS Certified.

As a new section within the store, it will allow users to browse applications and games that have been priced with the budget gamer in mind, a lot of the titles have been developed by third-parties, but you will find some from SCE Worldwide Studios alongside them.

All of the apps available have been made to be played with both the native controls for the PS Vita and Xperia Play, as well as the on-screen DualShock controller.

The service is available from today in the US, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Australia and Japan, but their will be more regions getting the new section soon.
