Today PNY unveiled a brand new graphics card unit that has been named the GeForce GTX 1060 6GB XLR8 Gaming OC and is a variant of the GeForce GTX 1060.
PNY say that it has been aimed at hardware and computer enthusiasts thanks to it’s integration of the latest Pascal architecture from NVIDIA, along with their ultra-fast FinFET technology and their XLR8 Dual Fan Cooler.
To top that off, it has 6GB of GDDR5 memory that is clocked at 8 Gbps and offers a transfer rate of 192 GB/s with a 192-bit wide memory data bus.
PNY explained more about it with the following:
Even the most graphically demanding titles of the day should not find it difficult to run on the GTX 1060 due to complete support for DirectX 12 – the gaming API used by all current gaming titles. NVIDIA Game Works brings a truly realistic cinematic gaming experience. The PNY GeForce GTX 1060 can aptly handle the latest games in VR as well, promising plug-and-play compatibility with most VR headsets.
Sporting 3 DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.0b, and DL-DVI ports, the PNY GeForce GTX 1060 supports multi-monitor setups, capable of ultra-high display resolutions of up to 7680×4320 @60fps. With a TDP of just 120W, the PNY GeForce 1060 can work in any system with a single dual-width PCIe x16 graphics slot, a 6-pin PCIe power connector, and with a minimum power requirement of only 400W.
