This week Niantic revealed that like many other games, Pokemon Go will be getting an in-game event to celebrate Halloween.

Niantic Labs and The Pokemon Company revealed this event today, announcing that the event will kick off on October 26th and will end on November 1st.

They say that it will cause some of the game’s spookiest creatures to show up more often, including Drowzee, Gastly, Gengar, Golbat, Haunter, Hypno, and Zubat.

Players will also be able to earn more Pokemon Candy during the event.

With every Pokemon that you catch, you will get six candies, which is two times more than the normal amount. The professional will also give you two candies instead of one each time you transfer a Pokemon to him.
