Earlier today a site named Photorumors released rumors alongside press shots of a new Android Compact System Camera which will apparently be unveiled at next years CES 2013.

After which the CEO of Polaroid, Scott Hardy confirmed the rumors revealing that “There will be an Android powered, interchangeable lens camera introduced by Polaroid at CES 2013, additional information and specs will be released during the show.”

However we do have some details also revealed on the site, according to them the camera will be named the Polaroid IM1836, pack a 3.5″ touchscreen display, a 10-30mm lens, flash, HDMI out, built-in WiFi and an 18 megapixel sensor, of course it will also run on Android.

However there’s nothing official yet, as Scott said “additional information and specs will be released during the show.” So we will just have to let you know more during the show.
