It’s a fair wait until Samsung’s new Galaxy S4 handset hits stores on April 26th, however carriers have decided to get the ball rolling, sending out information on the price plans you will be choosing from when you go to pick up your new S4, and have even opened up pre-orders so you can reserve your spot.

EE are of course the only carrier that will provide 4G currently, for which their offering the new 16GB version of the handset for £19.99 on a £56/ £76 24 month contract with 8GB or 20GB of 4G data access, or you could pick their £31 a month contract which will only offer 500MB of data, and will set you back £269.99 for the phone up-front.

If you prefer the S4 will also be available on EE’s 3G network, for as low as £10.50 a month on a 24 month package from £109.99. Find out more on their pre-order page.

Vodafone are also offering to phone, for free of their 4G-Ready Vodafone Red XL price plan offering a 4GB monthly data allowance for £42 a month on a 24-month contract, you can pay £69 up-front and get the S4 for only £37 a month (probably better to do that last one). O2 will also be offering the phone, and as an online pre-order exclusive you can pick up the phone for £37 a month on a 24-month contract for £99.99 up-front, granting you unlimited text, minutes and 2GB of data, there’s other tariffs for £32 and £52 a month also, the second will offer the phone for free. Three will be offering the phone for free, on a £35 a month 24-month contract, they offer all-you-can-eat data on their Ultrafast network. You can find out more on Three’s pre-order page here.

There’s currently no news from Virgin Media.

[Update] Virgin Media have finally revealed their plans, three to be precise, the first with a £99 upfront fee, you can pick up the phone on a tarriff from £36 a month, which comes with 200 minutes, 500 texts and 500MB of data, this can however be upgraded to either the £41 or the £44 a month tariff.

There’s also a £69 offer, which will grant the same allowances but for £38, £43 or £46 a month, current Virgin Media customers can pick up the third tarriff, with the same allowances once again, but for being a loyalist they get £5 off their monthly bill.

Phones4U will also be offering the phone, giving a way a Google Play Voucher each time an S4 is pre-ordered, ranging up to £100, you will get a voucher depending on the price plan you chose, for instance a £24 a month contract will get you the full £100, whereas a £41 a month will grant you £50, alongside which they will also pick a pre-ordering winner each day, who will receive a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet and Samsung Galaxy Camera. Carphone Warehouse will also be offering free goodies, the first 2,000 customer in fact will get a free Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7-inch tablet worth £149, and an accessory bundle for their new phone, comprising an in-car charger, screen protector and case (worth £65), they are offering the phone at usual rates, but you can also pick it up SIM-free for £629.95.
