Have you ever picked up a newspaper, but found yourself not having time to read it or finding anywhere to store it during your travels? Well, PressReader is defiantly for you as it lets you continue your life without any of these problems, you get to read your morning newspaper without the hassle of carrying it everywhere with you, all you need is a phone or tablet.

The first thing I must mention is that the app itself is free, but as of course you are getting real newspapers with the app you must pay a fee to access more papers you can do this by either paying a one of flat fee between 69p and £2.49 depending on the paper, or you can bag yourself a monthly membership for £23.99 granting you access to any and all papers within the collection.

But don’t let the cost put you off as this is truly one of the best ways to read the news, with over 2,100 newspapers from 95 countries you are never without a new paper. But that’s not the only thing that makes this app great, as if you want to you don’t even have to read, with an inbuilt narration you can just sit back and listen to what’s been going on recently.

Alongside that you can use the app on more or less any device you own with support for the iPad, iPhone, Android tablets and phones as well as the BlackBerry Playbook and Windows Phone and Slate devices.

And there’s, even more, the app can even automatically down your favorite paper as it is released and send you a notification telling you it has done so, making your mornings a lot less forgetful.

If you’re still thinking about the price it’s okay because NewspaperDirect is even allowing you to get seven issues of selected newspapers completely free, giving you a chance to work out how great this app actually is.
