The next Call of Duty game, Call of Duty: WWII will be released on Friday, November 3rd.

Before then, players will get a chance to play parts of the game to get a feel for it before release, starting with PS4 players.

To begin with, PS4 players will get access to a selection of multiplayer maps and modes from August 25th up until August 28th.

After that, there will be a second private beta session on September 1st through to September 4th, which will be available to both PS4 and Xbox owners.

However, there is a caveat. You will have had to have purchased a pre-order of the disc or digital download version of the game before those dates in order to gain access.

Those who have will receive a beta code which they will have to redeem on the Call of Duty website.

And if you do participate, you will get an exclusive in-game combat pack which includes a helmet, calling card and emblem that no-one else can earn afterwards.
