Major Nelson has just announced that the public beta registration for the 2013 Xbox Live update is now available for Xbox owners to sign up to, allowing gamers to get a first look at the upcoming update for the Xbox 360.

Users can sign up directly using their Xbox 360, but there will only be a select number of spots available, and for those who live in Japan, you might have to wait a little longer.

To sign up, simply click on the tile placed on the dashboard titled “Xbox Beta Program,” which will include updates to improve overall performance as well as the option to purchase content with actual money not MS Points.
