Pure has today announced a new synchronisation technology called Caskeid. This technology allows users of the Jongo wireless speaker system to connect their speakers to any music streaming service, allowing users to play audio from services that includes Pandora, Rdio, Deezer and Spotify, alongside a few lesser known applications like Madagascar radio.

Pure also says that the technology will also be able to access over 500 music streaming services across 100 territories, along with a range of radio applications, all of which can be accessed from multiple Jongo speakers at a time.

This can be done by delivering content to the speakers using either or both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, and can be streamed to multiple devices seamlessly according to the company, who also stated that the technology “delivers outstanding audiophile-quality stereo playback with less than 25µs synchronisation accuracy, providing a true ‘Wi-Fi Hi-Fi’ experience that is good enough to replace wires”.

“Jongo was designed with flexibility in mind and now we’ve taken this concept a huge step further with Bluetooth Caskeid, which brings the worlds’ most accurate and advanced audio synchronisation technology to a much wider audience, giving them the choice to listen to whatever they want, in great quality throughout the home.”

The Pure Caskeid technology is now accessible from the Pure Jongo app on both Android and iOS.
