It’s only a week until Apple’s September 12th event, but the rumors are still coming in for the iPhone 5, the newest is a video with apparently shows the next-gen iPhone booting up.

The source of the video claims the phone is an “accidentally” discovered prototype direct from a Jincheng Foxconn factory, and shows a thinner and much taller phone, including the alleged micro-SIM slot.

There are a few things that make us wonder if this is real, the first is that they have taped the Apple logo and product information up, alongside it the Home button looks a little of and the camera and sensor placement are untidy, which is nothing like what Apple normally do, but if it is real, this iPhone is a prototype so it could be possible.

The video then ends with a “Cannot complete activation” message, and the Apple logo finishes off with a burst, which is a bit different.
