Razer have today confirmed the release of the Razer Edge during CES 2013, which is the full featured Windows 8 gaming tablet that we seen at last years CES under the name of Project Fiona.

The tablet has been designed to be a dockable device that can connect to a keyboard, controls or even a normal dock that allows you to use the it as a tablet games console or even a laptop/ PC.

The best part is the tablets amazing design which Razer said has been created for a “phenomenal experience for mobile gamers,”

There will be two models of the Razer Edge releases, the base model will include an Intel Core i5 processor, with Nvidia GT640M graphics, 4GB RAM and a 64GB SSD, then there’s the Razer Edge Pro that comes with an Intel Core i7 processor, NVIDIA GT640M GPU, 8GB RAM and the choose between a 128 or 256GB SSD.

Both of the models will be available from Q1 2013 starting at $999. with dock accessories available later this year.

There’s no word on international pricing yet however.
