After revealing that they would be announcing a smartphone this month earlier this year, Razer has finally made use of that Nextbit acquisition with the unveiling of their own smartphone.

It is called the Razer Phone and it’s actually pretty interesting thanks to its integration of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chip alongside 8GB of RAM and what Razer claims to be the world’s first 120Hz UltraMotion display, making it pretty awesome for anyone who wants high-performance mobile gaming.

In order to take advantage of this, Razer has worked with a number of games in order to optimise them for this new platform, including Arena of Valor, Lineage 2: Revolution, Shadowgun Legends, and Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition.

And it’s not just gaming, the Razer Phone also features front-facing stereo speakers alongside a THX-certified USB 3.0 audio adapter that expands the audio quality beyond what you are normally used to on a smartphone.

It will also come pre-loaded with Android Nougat and the Nova Launcher Prime overlay.

You will be able to pre-order the new Razer Phone from Razer’s website today in the US, where it will also be available from Amazon and from select Microsoft stores for $699.99 when it launches on November 17th.

In Europe, it will be available from Three for £699.99.
