The music streaming service, Rdio have today decided to expand their services a little further, launching a new video streaming service, imaginatively called Vdio.

At the moment the service is only available to those who are currently Rdio subscribers, and will allow you to rent or buy titles on a pay per download basis, once you have done which, the video shows up in a purchases menu, where it can be played back from.

Pricing for this is more or less the same as those currently set by iTunes with new films and series priced between £10 and £20, for which there’s a pretty good selection to choose from.

Current Rdio premium subscribers will get £20 credit for free, allowing them to try out the service. However this must be used by the end of May.
