After teasing an image earlier this week, Rockstar has finally confirmed that a new Red Dead Redemption will be released soon.

Called Red Dead Redemption 2, it will be released for the PS4 and for the Xbox One in Fall 2017.

Aside from the tweet that confirmed that Red Dead Redemption 2 will be released in Fall 2017, we don’t know a whole lot about the game.

They did mention that a full trailer will be released this Thursday at 11AM EST (4PM BST), and that the game will be “an epic tale of life in America’s unforgiving heartland.”

Sam Houser, Founder of Rockstar Games, said the following about the game:

“With Red Dead Redemption 2, the team is working hard to push forward our vision for interactive entertainment in a truly living world.”

“We hope to deliver players an epic experience that builds upon everything we’ve learned making games.”

There’s no word on a PC release yet.
