RGB illumination in PCs is becoming more popular, with the ability to light up everything from the side of your case to your graphics card, but if that still isn’t enough for you then you might be happy to know that you can also get RGB-illuminated RAM.

This has been a thing for some time now, but none have looked quite as interesting as G.Skill’s new Trident Z RGB DDR4 RAM cards.

What makes this interesting, is that the card not only shows a single colour (like previous RGB RAM modules), but it can also be configured to show a range of coloured LEDs, which the RAM will cycle through with candy-coloured illuminations.

With a future software update, you will also be able to control the colour shown on the light bar of the RAM.

Unfortunately, no pricing or exact specifications have been announced yet, however, they did reveal that it will be available at some point in January 2017.
