RIM are set to host their event at 3PM UK time today, launching two new smartphones and the new BlackBerry 10 OS, but already the company has made their refreshed and new app store available.

Still called BlackBerry World, the new store is said the be RIM’s answer to Apple’s iTunes application allowing users to download music and videos from a range of major labels and studios. The UK has access to the music library but wee are yet to see the video section go live, however it has been promised for launch.

However in the US, videos are available to buy and rent now, with movies promised to appear the day of the DVD or Blu-Ray release, films such as Ted are available from today, $19.99 to buy or $3.99 to rent.

TV shows like Breaking Bad will also be available, at $1.99 to buy per show.
