Rise of the Tomb Raider was announced for the PlayStation VR this week.

It was shown off in a trailer from Gamescom recently today another new trailer has been released for an upcoming addition for the game called ‘Blood Ties’, which is a new mission that can be played on a standard screen or with PlayStation VR.

In their according to the official PlayStation Blog, PlayStation explained how players would be exploring Croft Manor in this new mission:

In the wake of her father’s death, Lara’s uncle challenges her ownership of Croft Manor. Lara is determined to reclaim her legacy and prove that she is the rightful heir, but to do that she will need to confront her past head on. Explore Lara’s childhood home in an hour of new Story Mode gameplay, and uncover a family mystery that will change her life forever.

In the PlayStation VR experience there will be two control modes, the free mode which will use standard stick-based movement and comfort mode, which allows you to move around the map by looking at the map and then pressing a button to teleport Lara where you want her.

The Rise of the Tomb Raider PlayStation VR experience will be launched alongside the 20th anniversary edition on October 13th, 2016.
