Another exclusive game for the Oculus Rift has been announced for the Oculus Rift today.

Called Rock Band VR, the game has been confirmed to be coming to the virtual reality headset on March 23rd, to be released by the usual Rock Band developer: Harmonix.

In the announcement of this, Harmonix revealed that the game will be offered with a bundled guitar peripheral to make the experience of playing a guitar real. That guitar peripheral will also be compatible with the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of the game if you choose the bundle for that purpose.

With the VR release, Rock Band will take a slightly different form, with a closer focus on improvisation, rather than hitting notes precisely.

Harmonix has revealed more details about this on their website, revealing the inclusion of a 60-song track list and details about an upcoming “classic mode” that brings back the not highway of the original games.

The game will also be compatible with the Oculus Touch motion controllers.
