The developers of Rocket League Psyonix has today announced some  new additions to the game.

With this announcement, they revealed that they are adding three new arenas to Rocket League, including one for the Rocket Labs playlist.

That one has been named Octagon, which will be playable online and exhibition, featuring a virtual reality theme.

This arena features eight sides, which is where the name comes from.

Psyonix are also adding two more classic arena variants, the first is a version of Urban Central but set at dawn. The second is a version of the DFH Stadium but with storms.

These will both be available to play online and offline in the exhibition game mode and in private matches as well as in ranked playlists.

All of these maps will be available in the form of an update that will be available in September.
