Rockstar just released a picture that may be teasing the release of Red Dead Redemption 2.

The image was released on the developer’s social media accounts, it features a red background with the Rockstar logo on top, particularly the image has a background that is very similar to the original Red Dead Redemption box art.

That all said, Rockstar hasn’t actually revealed any official details confirming the release, but given the game’s popularity, it’s likely that we would see the game in one form or another.

The Xbox One now has backwards compatibility features, so it could be that the previous game will be launched as part of that, and that is what the image is about.

However, many have assumed that this will be an entirely new title in the series, named Red Dead Redemption 2.

As soon as we hear more information about it, we will let you know.

In the meantime, you can check out that tweet from Rockstar below.
