One of the biggest features to be featured on the Sony Xperia Z2, alongside its 5.3 inch Full HD display is the 20.7 megapixel Sony Exmor RS Sensor, which is capable of recording video in 4K.

We haven’t seen anything official for 4K video recording yet, but a sample video that claims to have been taken with the smartphone has now appeared online.

Showing a video of the road, the video can be played on YouTube in full 4K resolution, as seen below.

Alongside the camera, the Xperia Z2 also features a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution display, a quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor with a clock speed of 2.3GHz, 3GB of RAM, 16GB of in-built storage, a microSD card slot, 3000mAh battery, Android 4.4 KitKat and a 2 megapixel front-facing camera.
