During their Unpacked 2015 event today Samsung announced the long-rumoured Samsung Galaxy Note 5, as has been expected for a few weeks now.

In terms of specs, the Note 5 has a 5.7 inch, 2560 x 1440 pixel Super AMOLED display with 515 ppi.

It also features a Samsung Exynos 7420 Octa-core processor, 4GB of RAM, 32 or 64GB of storage, a 16 megapixel rear-facing camera, 5 megapixel front-facing camera but no microSD card slot.

It also has 2.5GHz 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, a 3000mAh battery, NFC a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a microUSB charging/syncing port.

It will be sized at 152.2 x 76.1 x 7.6mm and will weigh 171 grams, and it will run on Android 5.1 at launch.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will be available in the US and Canada on August 25, 2015, no international details have been released yet.
