Samsung has today announced a couple of new laptops to join its re-branded Series 9 range, dubbed the ATIV Book 9 Plus and the ATIV Book 9 Lite, the new laptops will feature a new slim and sleek design, with Windows 8.

The ATIV Book 9 is basically an updated version of the ATIV Book 9 with an Intel Core i5/ i7 processor, 8GB of RAM and a 256GB of SSD.

The ATIV Book 9 Plus is the more premium device, with an aluminium, uni-body design, with a Windows 8 Touchscreen ready display, that offers a 3200 x 1800 pixel resolution, with a 13.3 inch screen and a 276 ppi, which is better than the MacBook Pro with Retina display that only has a 227 ppi.


Alongside this, the laptop will also has an Intel Haswell, granting a 12 hour battery life on a single charge, only weighing 1.39kg

It will weigh 1.39kg and measures 319.6 x 222.9 x 13.6mm.

The ATIV Book 9 Lite will also run on Windos 8, with a 13.3 inch 1366 x 768 optional touchscreen display and a quad-core processor from AMD, up to 4GB of RAM, a 256GB SSD with a battery life of up to 8.5 hours.

However it weigh 1.44kg.
