Ahead of CES 2015, Samsung has today announced the release of a brand new all-in-one with a difference, dubbed the Samsung Ativ One 7, the new PC brings the curved display to the AIO, making it the first curved all-in-one PC in the world.
Much like other AIOs, all of the computer’s components are included within the body. This includes an Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB of Ram and a 1TB 5,400RPM hard drive. In terms of the display yo get 27 inches in total, featuring a Full HD resolution and TN panel.
As of yet that’s about all we know, however we do know that the Samsung Ativ One 7 will be available later this quarter for $1,300 in the US.
On top of the Ativ One 7, Samsung also announced their thinnest laptop yet, the Ativ Book 9 Ultrabook, which is just 0.45 inches thick and weighs only 2.09 pounds. That is still with the 12.2 inch display that has a 2,560 x 1,440 pixel resolution.
Samsung says that the laptop is the thinnest and lightest notebook it has released yet.
The Book 9 also features Intel’s new Core M processor, an “outdoor mode” that takes the brightness of the display from 350 nits to 700 nits, and a battery life that is said to last up to 10.5 hours.
The notebook also features an Ultra Power Saving Mode that is similar to Samsung’s smartphones, and is even fanless.
The Samsung Ativ Book 9 will be available sometime in Q1 2015 in two configurations, a $1,200 model with 4GB of RAM and a 128GB SSD, or a $1,400 model with 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD.
