As was expected, Samsung announced the Galaxy Edge Plus at their Unpacked 2015 event today, an announcement which came alongside one for the new Galaxy Edge Plus.

The Galaxy Edge Plus has a 5.7 inch, 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution Super AMOLED display with 515 ppi.

It will run on Android 5.1 at launch featuring a Exynos 7420 Octa-core processor, 4GB of RAM, 32 or 64GB of storage, a 16 megapixel rear-facing camera and a 5 megapixel front-facing camera.

Unfortunately like the Note 5 it doesn’t allow for external storage.

It does have WiFi and Bluetooth 4.2 LE connectivity, with a 3000mAh battery, NFC, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a micro USB charging/ syncing port.

it will be sized at 153.2 x 76.1 x 7.6mm and will weigh 171 grams.
