Earlier this month, Samsung teased that they would be announcing something called the ArtPC this week, that day was today.

Samsung unveiled this new ArtPC today, revealing the uniquely designed PC for from $1,200 in the US.

The Samsung art PC Pulse is a completely new Type of computer. It features a gorgeous premium aluminum body with an exquisite expandable design. It’s approximately 87% more compact compared to average desktop PCs, yet delivers a similar level of performance as bigger machines. This is more than just a PC. You can place it anywhere, whether it’s your living room or your home office.

It comes with a 6th generation Intel i5 processor, a 256GB NVMe solid state drive (SSD), 8GB of DDR4 RAM, and HDMI and USB-C ports.

It also features an AMD Radeon RX 460 GPU with 2GB of on-board memory and the hardware to make it suitable for H.265 decompression, making it great for editing 4K video.

It will come pre-installed with Microsoft’s Windows 10 Home Signature Edition operating system.

There will be a second version available for from $1,599. That version includes a 6th generation Intel Core i7 processor, a 256GB NVMe SSD, 1TB SATA HDD, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and HDMI and USB-C ports.

It also has a 1TB HDD expansion module, with the same AMD Radeon RX 460 GPU.

Both feature a full metal body design with circular ambient lighting, and a Harmon Kardon 360 degree Omni-directional speaker unit.
