For some now, we have been hearing that flip phones might be making a comeback.

Today it seems as though those rumours might be slightly true as Samsung has announced a brand new flip phone called the Samsung W2017.

The device features a dual 4.2-inch Super AMOLED display, with an external and internal display that features a Full HD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels.

It also comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor inside, as well as 4GB of RAM, 64GB of built-in storage and a microSD card slot for expanding upon that storage.

It also comes with a 5-megapixel camera on the front of the device, with another 12-megapixel camera on the back of the device that is also capable of recording 4K video.

Finally, it also features a 2,300mAh battery with fast charging, a fingerprint sensor and WiFi, Bluetooth and 4G LTE connectivity.

It’s probably the most advanced flip phone that’s currently available.

Samsung has not revealed any information about the phone’s pricing or availability, but we should hear more about it soon.
