According to @evleaks the Samsung Chromebook 2 might be getting a faux leather version, extending from what the company has done with its Galaxy devices.

This new information comes from a photo that was posted on the Twitter account, showing the design with the similar design to the normal Chromebook 2, but instead with what looks to be a faux-leather design, alongside the usual Chrome logo on the top left.

This comes after the design was first introduced in September 2013 in the Galaxy Note 3, and has since been introduced in the Galaxy Note and Galaxy Tab devices, more recently being added to the Galaxy S5 which was unveiled at MWC 2014 last week.

As of yet there’s nothing official about the new design, but if it does turn out to be true, it’s likely we might see an official announcement soon.
