The iWatch from Apple is something that has been both rumored and fantasized about for some time now, but with no official news we have no clue whether it will end up launching or not, however Samsung doesn’t care about that, revealing that they are working on their own smart watch to rival the iWatch.

This is not the first time the company has tried to get into this sector however, after revealing their S9110 Watch Phone back in 2009.

Of course there’s no details on the Samsung watch, but you can probably guess that it will have something to do with their Galaxy line-up of phones, and likely  run on the Android OS, Lee Young Hee the executive vice president of Samsung Mobile did however, say the following:

“We’ve been preparing the watch product for so long”, we are working very hard to get ready for it. We are preparing products for the future, and the watch is definitely one of them.”
