Samsung has today announced a new smartphone for the budget smartphone buyer, offering up the Samsung Galaxy Core Advance in the low-mid end smartphone market.

The smartphone features a 4.7 inch 800 x 480 TFT screen, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage,a microSD card slot for up to 64GB of expandibility and a 5MP pixel rear camera and a 0.3MP camera on the front.

The device measures 133.3 x 70.5 x 9.7mm and weighs 145 grams, and features a Soft Feel rear cover, with physical keys on the bottom of the front, as well as dedicated keys for the voice recorder, camera, volume, home and power.

There’s also a 2,000mAh battery.

Samsung’s S Voice, S Translator, Sound & Shot, Group Play and Easy Mode applications will also be included.

The Galaxy Core Advance will be released in early 2014 in deep blue and pearl white variants.
