Despite the lack of details during their press conferences yesterday, Samsung announced two new smartphones during the show, dubbed the Samsung Galaxy E5 and Galaxy E7 which will both launch in India initially.

The Samsung Galaxy E5 features a 5 inch Super AMOLED display, a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot that adds support for up to an extra 64GB of storage.

It also features a 2,400 mAh battery, Android 4.4 KitKat, Samsung’s TouchWiz UI, WiFi capabilities, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0, A-GPS and GLONASS.

The handset also features a 5 megapixel camera on the front and an 8 megapixel camera on the back with LED flash and auto focus.

The Samsung Galaxy E7, also announced during the show, it features a 5.5 inch Super AMOLED display, a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot that supports an extra 64GB.

On the front there’s also a 5 megapixel front-facing camera, which has been matched with a 13 megapixel rear-facing camera with auto focus and LED flash.

The handset also features a 2,950 mAh battery and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat.
