Yesterday Three UK announced on their Twitter page that the newest Andriod Ice Cream Sandwich OS is now available on the Galaxy S II, in order to update your phone, you will need to first connect it to a PC that has Kies installed if you don’t know what that is. it’s Samsung’s phone management software which you can download here.

“ICS update for Galaxy S II is available via Kies. You’ll need to connect your S2 to a PC via USB cable with Kies software installed.”

This makes Three the first UK network update their Galaxy S II phones, but this does suggest that other carriers may be soon to follow. With unlocked S II’s getting the update a lot earlier, the 10th f March to be exact I expect some people might have been a little jealous up to now.

What do you think? Have you updated yet?
