A new video that claims to provide the first hands-on view of the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active has been leaked today, showing what is said to be a tougher version of the current Samsung Galaxy S5.
The handset is said to feature a tougher case, alongside the same water-resistant body as the S5.
The leak also shows the handset with three physical buttons across the bottom of the display, which would work better for those who lead and active lifestyle.
Aside from that the handset looks to have a similar design to that of the Galaxy S4 Active, with a plastic case that features a removable plasticback cover, allowing users to easily switch out the battery if needed.
The video also looks to show reinforced corners on the device, along with the same AMOLED display that’s in the S5, as well as revealing a few specs for the device, which include a 16 megapixel camera on the back, 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset inside, along with 2GB of RAM.
We also expect that the device will run on Android 4.4 KitKat with the same TouchWiz interface as the S5.
As of yet however, none of this is official, for that we will have to wait until Samsung’s announement, which is expected to happen at its event in New York on June 12th.
