Samsung has today announced that the Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini will officially launch in the UK on August 7th 2014.

On that date the device will be available with a range of UK mobile carriers, alongside some other third party retailers and from Samsung Direct obviously.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini features a 4.5 inch HD display with a 1280 x 720 pixel resolution, a quad-core 1.4GHz processor, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of in-built storage.

To top that off, the S5 Mini will also include a microSD card slot for expansion, support for WiFi connections, Bluetooth, and a 2,100 mAh battery and Android 4.2.2 KitKat pre-installed.

On the front of the device there is a 2.1 megapixel camera, as well as an 8 megapixel camera with an LED flash on the back.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini will be available in the UK from August 7th in white, gold, black and blue, priced at £389.95 without a contract.
